Halloween outfit on a budget

Hi there!

I am super excited about today's post. I had my first ever Halloween dress-up party. It was awesome! I was super excited, like a child before her birthday. I did not have a budget for this party in terms of putting an outfit together. So, I turned to my trusty old friend, Pinterest. I found this easy DIY outfit with items that you already own. Everyone has this in they're wardrobe. I am sure of it.

I would have liked to go as Where's Wally, but time was of the essence and a none existing budget. I settled on going as a bank robber. I went through my cupboard and found all the items except for my mask. For the mask I took black material (which my dear friend's mom sponsored :P ) and made my own.
This was so easy to put together. I am totally in love with stripes and luckily I bought a black and white version earlier this year. I owned everything already. Come to think about it I don't think I will wear it together again maybe someone mistaken me for a real robber! Imagin that! LOL!!!

For a splash of color (as this is pretty boring) I added red lipstick. I used the Elizabeth Arden in Rouge. It is super red and I love it! I should wear it more.
I had a lot of fun and I am totally proud of my DIY skills. Here is a snap from my Instagram of my friend and I at the party.
Halloween
A robber and a thief. This was not coordinated. What a team! We dubbed ourselves Bonny&Clyde in modern clothes!

I would love to see your outfits! Send me a picture. Tag my on Twitter/Instagram #elre1halloween!

xoxo
