I am glad this is one of the topics. I inherited something pretty cool from my grandma and my husband's grandma.
The little kettle is what my grandma used to make some tea. I couldn't believe it when she told me she still use it and her "order" was that I must have this (this was when she moved into the retirement home). I LOVE this little kettle. I just can not bring myself to use it.
The tea-tray I got as a gift from my mother in law, but it comes from my father in law's mother. It was the tray she used. I really LOVE this tray.
I am very proud of these two items.
My cousin: This used to hang in my grandma's house. Iscanned it and named it "Angelica" and this is her guardian angel.
My friend: This is a show case that belonged to my husband's grandma and then his mother and we inherited it and it now is in our house.
My aunt: This was my mother black iron pan. It is so heavy and I think one should have a license for it because I am sure you can whack someone more than lights out with it.
